13/11/08: Innovation Exchange Next Practice programme launch
I had the privilege of working with the Innovation Exchange team to facilitate this event today, which marks the official start of a programme designed to support and showcase the best in third sector innovation. We were able to do some great work with the participants, who were all generous and insightful in their contributions. Looking forward to the next phase. Read about the projects.
Innovation Exchange has created its Next Practice Programme to help third sector organisations to develop, evaluate and grow innovative products and services and to encourage investors and public sector commissioners to support them. The challenge for participants is to move beyond best practice to next practice – developing solutions to the toughest unsolved problems.

Gene's right, it was a brilliant day. I was taken aback by the commitment and energy of the projects. It felt like real work. In particular, I thought Slivers of Time (www.sliversoftime.com) and Enabled by Design (www.enabledbydesign.org) were two really compelling projects.
