25/02/10: NESTA Lab Learning Event on idea development

As part of our work as Learning Partner for the Lab, we're facilitating a learning event to explore what idea development is and to what purposes idea development processes can be effectively applied.

The event (being held on 2 March) will bring together great people from organisations like ThinkPublic, Ashoka, Cisco, Engine, SICamp, Sandbox to consider questions like:

  • How can these processes be used to improve the quality, robustness and innovativeness of ideas?
  • What role do they play in understanding the innovative capacity of teams / people?
  • What role can they play in the sifting and selection of ideas and teams?
  • What is the added value that users and purchasers can bring to these processes?

Learning from the event will feed into a NESTA guide to idea development being published later this year.
