18/02/08: ThePublicOffice
Caireen acts as an adviser and Gene as a facilitator for ThePublicOffice - a unique collaboration between a group of industry and public sector partners (Kable, Cable & Wireless, EDS, Like People Do at Central St Martins, National Consumer Council) who are determined to take a different approach to the design and delivery of public services.
During 2007, Caireen worked with Ruth Kennedy and William Heath at Kable, the driving force behind the project, to commission and manage the design, curation and production of a 450sq ft creative workshop space – ‘ThePublicOffice’, which was located at Earls Court on 12th and 13th June. The space hosted senior public service leaders in a series of workshops which allowed participants to engage directly with the experiences of citizens through specially commissioned films and to work alongside peers, service designers and provocateurs to find new and collaborative ways of delivering public services.
GoddardPayne is now supporting the ongoing development of ThePublicOffice by providing project management support and facilitation at repeat events.

Just in case I haven't said it enough, thank you so much for all you're doing. I can't imagine anyone else pushing things along as you have, contributing so much wise content and thought, and being such a dream to work with.
